headlight modifications
« on: April 24, 2010, 11:58:39 AM »
so at a local detail shop i had some headlight film installed. i requested the tint since i wanted to darken up the chrome aperence of the front of my car. shop owner let me know about some of the others he's tinted and how they had no problems seeing at night

mine got installed and i couldnt see at night at all really. apparently i have 35w hid, which are very common but i beilieve the others he was talking about had 55w hid and thats why they could see just fine....

well i had to take the tint off of course... and figure out a plan b to anti-chrome my exterior...

mazda3revolution.com had the answer....

so i did it

i'll post some more pix later today or tomorrow i have yet to install the 2nd headlight. im working on that today.

nice looks good... you could have also just bought a 55W hid kit, unless you got the GT package with OEM hids which would make the switch difficult

i rather not have spent the extra money for the higher watts and took the gable that i may only be able to see 30% better... i rather see 100%  :)

im going back this week on thursday to get clear protective film installed on the headlights instead of tint any way.
